Previous owner's bookplate, blind stamp on ffep and follwing page. Brown boards with (bright) gilt ship on front. Spine faded making gilt letters difficult to see. Boards are worn especially at spine ends. Foldout map on page 12 in place. Larger fold out map from page 9 intact in makeshift holder at back. Foldout letter at page 254 has been repaired with paper not tape. Front binding is loose, but secure. The pages are unmarked. Illustrated.
