About Our StoreNEW, USED AND RARE
We launched over twelve years ago as an open store, with our initial stock founded upon the owner's collection. This was put together over many years of collecting world wide and had outgrown our house; when books were consigned to the basement - to make room for new nautical book arrivals - a decision made by my wife of course- was made to go public. There are far fewer books of mine at home these days!MARINE, MARITIME, NAUTICAL AND NAVAL
Persuing the collecting of all 'Nautical/Naval' and 'Watery' subjects very rapidly led to a wide diversity of titles. We are always buying, and have been very successful in servicing our clients' wants lists; we love to hear from people and are happy to discuss books in our field at any time. Well, not really! Ours are 'conventional' glass and wood, and as one of three great bookstores in a row - we are very cosy with some 12,500 books in the store at any one time; and we do enjoy browsers stopping in. Open daily except Sunday so please visit if in town.HOURS
